NCCN Outcomes Process Questions:

Why did I get an email about an activity I already completed?

You received this e-mail because NCCN is collecting data to measure the effectiveness of the educational activities. This is part of NCCN’s Outcomes Process (described below).

What is NCCN’s Outcomes Process?

NCCN collects data through a variety of instruments, including, but not limited to: pre-test, ARS questioning, the activity evaluation, an immediate post-test, a follow-up post test, and a post-activity survey. The NCCN activity evaluations ask whether clinicians plan to incorporate these updates in cancer management into their practice. The evaluations are required in order to receive your certificate. The second outcomes measurement instrument will be a post-test based on the learning objectives from the activity, taken immediately following the activity and then again 30-days following the activity. Approximately 60 days after an activity ends, a follow-up survey is sent to attendees in order to determine whether participants of the activity implement their intended practice change.
