Comprehensive Pain Management in Oncology: A Multidisciplinary Approach - Tumor Boards

Comprehensive Pain Management in Oncology: A Multidisciplinary Approach - Tumor Boars is a four-part educational series designed to equip oncology healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to assess, manage, and monitor cancer-related pain using evidence-based, patient-centered approaches. Through a combination of foundational education, practical management strategies, and complex case-based discussions, learners will build competence in pain assessment, multimodal treatment planning, the safe and effective use of opioid analgesics, and the management of patients with coexisting substance use disorders. The series emphasizes interprofessional collaboration, functional outcomes, risk mitigation, and appropriate referral strategies to support comprehensive, high-quality cancer pain care across the continuum of oncology practice.

Provided by National Comprehensive Cancer Network in collaboration with The France Foundation.
