Bridging the Gap in Understanding Immuno-Oncologic Treatments

August 14, 2014

This live 75-minute webinar, with interactive Q&A and patient-clinician video case studies, will review the basics of immuno-oncology including the role of the immune system, mechanism of action and pathways of immunotherapy, and compare and contrast conventional and immuno-oncologic cancer treatments.  The short patient vignettes will consist of a clinician interacting with a patient receiving immunotherapy to treat melanoma.  The vignettes and ensuing didactic lecture will incorporate the science of immuno-oncology into practice.
