Advances in Ovarian and Cervical Cancers: Case-Based Discussions (NCCN 20th Annual Conference Satellite Symposium)

The goal of this activity is to improve participants’ competence in providing optimal care for patients with ovarian and cervical cancer as well as their knowledge of emerging clinical trial data and current guideline and expert recommendations.

Target Audience

This program is intended for medical oncologists, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals who provide medical care for patients with ovarian and cervical cancer.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Apply current evidence and new guideline recommendations to the management of patients with recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer
  • Apply current evidence and new guideline recommendations to the management of patients with ovarian cancer
  • Choose optimal therapeutic regimens for patients with ovarian cancer based on the current evidence and best practice recommendations
  • Discuss the molecular characterization of ovarian and cervical cancers and the utility of targeting these molecular pathways using novel therapeutic agents
  • Integrate key data from clinical studies of novel agents to the management of patients with ovarian and cervical cancer
  • Recognize the importance of clinical trial enrollment and be aware of ongoing clinical trial opportunities for patients with gynecologic cancers
