Managed Care and Corporate Medical Directors Webinars: Transitioning to Palliative Treatment at End of Life

This educational program is designed specifically to address the interests of managed care and corporate medical directors. Each webinar will feature a different topic based on feedback from a sample of medical directors along with an interactive question and answer period for participants. NCCN offers continuing education credits for physicians (CME) for these webinars.

Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of health plan medical directors.

Learning Objectives

Following this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the role of palliative care and management of common symptoms at the end of life
  • Identify strategies that health plans can employ to increase patient awareness and informed decisions about end of life options
