Novel and Emerging Treatment Options for Acute Myeloid Leukemia
There is a need for improved therapeutic strategies to combat AML disease progression. Some novel treatment options are associated with improved clinical outcomes and fewer side effects than the conventional standard regimens.  Clinicians need to be informed about these therapeutic advances to aid their incorporation into standard regimens for the appropriate subpopulations of patients with AML.

Target Audience

This educational program is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals who manage patients with cancer.

Learning Objectives

Following this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the standard of care and the need for novel treatment options for AML.
  • Identify molecular targets being developed for AML management.
  • Review novel therapeutic agents being used in the management of AML.

NCCN does not set a minimal dollar amount for relationships to be significant. Inherent in any amount is the incentive to maintain or increase the value of the relationship.
