Emerging Therapeutic Options in Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

The incorporation of tyrosine kinase inhibitors into standard treatment regimens significantly improved the outcomes of patients with Ph-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Current data suggests a similar impact of targeted immunotherapies in ALL treatment. With increased use of immunotherapies in ALL treatment, it is important for oncology care providers to be aware of the best ways to incorporate these therapies into standard practice. Additionally, continued education will allow oncology care providers to become very conversant with the unique side effects associated with immunotherapy, leading to the development of appropriate disease management strategies. 

This information was originally presented at the NCCN 2020 Virtual Congress: Hematologic Malignancies™  held on October 9-10, 2020.

Target Audience

This educational program is designed to meet the educational needs of oncologists, hematologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, physician assistants, and other health care professionals who manage patients with hematologic malignancies.

NCCN Medical Education Disclosure Policy
