Challenging Case Review: Colorectal Cancer

As a result of the therapeutic advances and clinical research affecting the management of patients with cancer, clinicians can benefit by comparing their individual skills of diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with their peers.  This peer interaction is an integral part in enhancing clinical decision-making skills that can improve patient care.

Target Audience

The program is designed to meet the needs and improve the competence and performance of the interprofessional oncology care team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other relevant health care professionals who manage the care of patients with cancer.

Learning Objectives

Following this program, participants should be able to:

  • Identify clinical challenges in managing patients with colorectal cancer.
  • Develop an evidence-based approach for the management of these patients.
