Archived Monthly Oncology Tumor Boards: Updates in the Management of Pancreatic Cancer

Although advances in the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer are scarce, early genetic assessment and an enhanced understanding of the tumor biology and microenvironment will aid in improving survival outcomes. Recent research has focused on the role of precision medicine and the potential for immunotherapy in the treatment of pancreatic cancer. Continued education regarding the management of pancreatic cancer is required to bridge the gap in cancer care and improve outcomes in the patient population.
