Biomarkers in Solid Tumors: What’s on the Horizon?

Biomarker testing in oncology is an area of rapid growth. Practitioners need to be aware of new techniques that are being developed for detection of genomic alterations, and should also be aware of ongoing clinical trials that use novel trial designs and methodology for development of biomarker tests and targeted therapies.

Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other health care professionals who manage patients with solid tumors.

  • Review an example of a novel technique for biomarker detection.
  • Review advanced application of single cell analysis and liquid biopsy.
