Harnessing Artificial Intelligence to Improve Oncology Care

Oncology professionals must stay current with evolving artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to effectively interpret their outputs, integrate them into clinical decision-making, and anticipate future developments. This session is designed to  meet the educational need of clinicians for foundational knowledge of AI applications and trends that will enhance patient care, improve outcomes, and support precision medicine approaches.

Target Audience

This program is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians/oncologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other health care professionals who manage patients with cancer.

Learning Objectives

Following this activity, participants should be able to: 

  • Review current applications of artificial intelligence (AI) tools across the oncology care continuum.
  • Describe emerging technologies and how they may  support more precise, efficient, and patient-centered cancer care in the near future.
