NCCN Tumor Boards: Induction Therapy for Ph+ B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

October 8, 2026

The NCCN Guidelines® for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia provide evidence-based, consensus-driven recommendations to guide cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and supportive care, and are regularly updated to reflect emerging data to support oncology health care professionals in making informed clinical decisions.

In addition, this session will provide education on lower intensity and even chemotherapy-free induction therapies, such as blinatumomab combined with a TKI, may help to minimize treatment-related adverse effects while maintaining efficacy.

Target Audience

This educational program is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians/oncologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants/associates, pharmacists, and other health care professionals who manage patients with cancer.

Learning Objectives

Following this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss results of clinical trials assessing lower intensity induction therapy options for newly diagnosed Ph-positive B-ALL.
  • Identify treatment-related adverse events of agents commonly used in induction therapy for Ph-positive B-ALL, such as TKIs and blinatumomab.
  • Compare and contrast TKI options for newly diagnosed Ph-positive B-ALL.
