Collaborative Strategies for Optimizing Small-Volume Drug Delivery
The relationship between nursing and pharmacy is vital in ensuring patients receive the appropriate dose of medications, with each team having their unique role in the process. Currently there are no universally accepted standards for the delivery of small-dose/small-volume drugs. This makes collaboration and open communication between these two disciplines even more necessary to ensure patients are receiving the most benefit from their treatments.
