Optimizing the Management of Endometrial Cancer

The introduction of new methods for classifying endometrial cancers and assessing risk can create a challenging landscape for clinicians to navigate when evaluating patients and determining appropriate treatment. Additionally, emerging data is shifting recommendations regarding adjuvant treatment for patients with early-stage disease. Education is needed to help clinicians apply updates to the NCCN Guidelines in their practice in order to promote optimal care of patients with endometrial cancer.

Target Audience

This educational program is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians/oncologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other health care professionals who manage patients with cancer.

Learning Objectives

Following this program, participants should be able to:

  • Describe how molecular profiling can be used to classify endometrial cancers, assess risk, and guide treatment decisions.
  • Examine findings from recent trials when making decisions regarding adjuvant treatment for early stage endometrial cancers.
  • Apply updated recommendations in the NCCN Guidelines® for Uterine Neoplasms when caring for patients with endometrial cancer.

NCCN Medical Education Disclosure Policy

NCCN continuing education considers “relevant financial relationships” as financial relationships in any amount occurring within the past 12 months that create a conflict of interest. NCCN does not set a minimal dollar amount for relationships to be significant. Inherent in any amount is the incentive to maintain or increase the value of the relationship.
