Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Case Review

Multiple treatment modalities (including surgery, systemic therapy, and/or radiation therapy) may be options for patients with non-metastatic NSCLC, depending on disease stage, resectability, biomarker status, and other patient-specific factors. Additionally, recent clinical evidence has demonstrated that certain patients with non-metastatic NSCLC may be eligible for novel systemic therapy regimens. Clinicians need to be informed about key factors to consider when determining the most appropriate treatment approach for those with non-metastatic disease.

The number of actionable oncogenic drivers and types of targeted therapy agents for the treatment of metastatic NSCLC continue to increase. Due to the evolving treatment landscape, clinicians should understand the importance of using molecular testing to inform treatment strategy for patients with advanced or metastatic NSCLC.

Target Audience

This program is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians/oncologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other health care professionals who manage patients with cancer.
