The NCCN 2026 Nursing Program: Advancing Oncology Nursing™ will equip you with timely updates in cancer treatment and supportive care. The sessions address the expanding role of nurses in areas such as early-phase clinical trial participation, therapeutic administration, radiation guidance, and perioperative care. In addition, the program explores strategies for addressing social determinants of health, enhancing symptom management, and facilitating difficult patient conversations with compassion and confidence.
By engaging in case-based learning and expert-led sessions, you will strengthen your clinical decision-making and patient advocacy skills, ultimately improving outcomes and quality of life for people with cancer.

Target Audience
This program is designed to meet the educational needs of oncology nurses who treat people with cancer.
Learning Objectives
The goal of the NCCN 2026 Nursing Program is to ensure that oncology nurses, as members of the interprofessional oncology care team, have the knowledge and skills necessary to:
- Discuss advances in the treatment of patients with cancer and key updates in the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology and apply appropriate treatment and supportive care strategies to optimize patient education and care.
- Assess and address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients with cancer through comprehensive symptom management, psychosocial screening, and survivorship planning.
- Demonstrate effective communication, clinical judgement, and interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance nursing practice and patient safety in the cancer care environment.
